Floating Lemonade Stand
Dad can we do a lemonade stand? Of course! Only problem... WE LIVE ON A HOUSEBOAT! Our covid project to build Seattle first floating lemonade stand has turned into Kate and Quinn's journey into learning about business, giving back and having fun.
When the summer weather faded, they pivoted their business to start a wintertime soap business and Lemons for Good became a Kid-glomerate.
Donations
The girls donate 1/3 of their profits to charity. After spending some time looking for causes they cared about the girls selected the Rainier Animal Fund because it helped the two things they cared about. Animals and people struggling with homelessness by providing veterinary care to people that cannot afford it.
Lavender Lemonade - Organic Soap
After donating 1/3 of the profits the girls need to invest half the remaining profits in the investments of their choice to learning about investing and saving for college.
